Why Canada Life is our Primary Product Supplier?
As you can see, Cara Financial transacts business with many companies on behalf of its clients, however Canada Life is considered our "primary product supplier" for a number of reasons - both personal and business.
From a personal perspective, Canada Life, at the beginning of my career in Insurance and Financial Services Industry, trusted in my potential and ability, hired and trained me. Although I worked out of the Canada Life Offices, I was never restricted my ability to supply a product from any other company when that product was more appropriate to a client's circumstances, or more competitively priced. As a result, I have a strong and respectful professional relationship with staff at all levels within Canada Life.
These relationships, based on loyalty and trust also have advantages for my clients too. I have never had a claim for life or disability insurance declined or questioned unduly. My applications for new policies always receive an open hearing, and negative decisions are frequently amended upon my reasoned appeal.
From a business perspective, Canada Life is Canada's oldest insurance company, having celebrated its 150th birthday in 1997. Canada Life is a financially strong and stable company and consistently earns high ratings from the many organizations that rank financial services providers. When Canada Life went public in November 1999, its shares were over subscribed, and quickly rose 20%, as investors recognized its value. The shares have since doubled in value.
Canada Life is also the only insurance company in Canada to offer products in all areas allowed by the Insurance Act. Most other companies are more restricted in their product line, or simply market a product on behalf of another company. Canada Life not only offers an extensive product line, but their products are generally competitively priced, and many have unique and imaginative design features.
Cara Financial is proud of its long association with Canada Life where we are recognized not as a brokerage number, but by name and reputation.
